![]() ![]() Although dying doesn’t really set you back until you’re set up with a high level character with WMDs it’s not easy to plough solo into the horde. Played solo the game is challenging with a steep learning curve if you haven’t played before. However, as with many similar games, improving your character, finding new weapons and mods is addictive. At best you have you find a different way to an objective that you first thought. The quests send you around the map, there isn’t a whole lot of creativity here. Combat is still the same, the same satisfying splat as you carve/stamp/bludgeon/shoot your way through thousands of undead. All the original characters remain and you can import your DI character to the new game without keeping your inventory. There is one more character, a hand to hand combat specialist. If you pay full price I can understand feeling a little short changed but at £20 this is good value. Understandably so, it started out as DLC but it is now a full game. I should state that I enjoyed the first one which is why I enjoyed this one too.Īs other reviews have said, it is a very similar game. I've now played through the entire game once in solo and coop play so feel like I can give a proper review. ![]()
